Nepean Creek Stormwater Management Pond

The Nepean Creek Stormwater Management pond was completed in 2001 and is comprised of a one kilometer long by 100 to 200 metre wide excavated facility along a creek ravine to control water quality discharge to the Rideau River.

Houle Chevrier Engineering Ltd. conducted preliminary and design stage geotechnical investigations for the design of the stormwater management ponds, outlet structures, dams, side slopes, and storm sewers, including an impact assessment regarding the neighboring subdivision.
