National Sanitary Landfill
Greenland, Barbados

In 2003, our firm was selected to assist with the design and construction of a new lined landfill cell at the Nationalal Security Landfill in Barbados, West Indies.

Houle Chevrier Engineering Ltd. provided geotechnical investigation and recommendations for the design of the landfill liner, leachate collection system, and side slopes. During construction, our firm provided full-time inspection and testing of the compacted clay liner and geosynthetic clay liner (GCL).
